Wesley Place, Melbourne

What a great local park to have in the middle of the city just minutes from my front door.

Location: 130-150 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, adjacent to Wesley Uniting Church. 
(Between Lonsdale & Little Lonsdale Streets)
All ability access via both Little Lonsdale and Lonsdale Streets. 

Wesley Place is a favourite of mine to visit for a few reasons. It has lawns to lie on, it’s encapsulated by a juxtaposition of old and modern buildings, it has one of Melbourne’s oldest exotic trees an olive tree, also a beautiful huge elm tree, and it’s also home to Caretakers Cottage (a cracking good world renown small pub with great beverages and staff!). That’s a winner for me!
