Kings Domain Fern Gully, Melbourne

Always great to spend time in this delightful oasis.

Location: Kings Domain, Melbourne (On the way to the RBG Temple of the Winds gate)

Open at all times, although limited all-ability access. All ability access only from lower end. Narrow paths and steps in many locations with uneven paths.

Kings Domain Fern Gully is one of my favourite spots to visit. It is hidden just near the entry to the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and it’s an amazing lush garden that is tucked away amidst Kings Domain. It could be easy to miss, though once found you won’t want to leave it. The waterfalls, ferns and dense plantings create a delightful calm spot to relax in and escape the hussle of the city.
